Dryliners / fixers
Metal stud, plasterboard fixing, insulation, fireline, MF ceilings and related drylining work.
Sequenced Contracting is building a reliable network of experienced tradespeople and established gangs across South Wales for future construction and subcontract opportunities.
We are interested in building relationships with reliable trades who understand site standards, programme requirements and the importance of turning up ready to work.
Metal stud, plasterboard fixing, insulation, fireline, MF ceilings and related drylining work.
Experienced plasterers for housing, apartments, refurbishment and commercial interior packages.
Taping and jointing for drylined walls and ceilings, including follow-on finishing work.
Experienced SFS operatives and gangs for steel framing and associated external-wall package work.
Brick and blockwork trades for new-build housing and contractor-led commercial projects.
Carpentry and joinery trades for defined work packages and coordinated construction programmes.
MF and suspended ceiling experience for commercial interiors, apartments and housing projects.
General and trade-support labour may be required on specific projects depending on package and programme.
Already working as a reliable gang? Tell us your trade, gang size, usual operating area and current availability.
A short, accurate introduction is enough. We need to understand what you do, where you work and what kind of opportunity suits you.
Opportunities may arise across Cardiff, Bridgend, Newport, Swansea, Merthyr Tydfil, Pontypridd, Rhondda Cynon Taf, Caerphilly, the Vale of Glamorgan and the South Wales Valleys. Work may include new-build housing, apartments, commercial interiors, refurbishment and contractor-led construction projects.
The commercial basis depends on the project. Some requirements may suit daywork or labour-only arrangements, while defined scopes may be offered on a price-work or subcontract basis. Rates, scope, responsibilities, payment terms and programme are agreed for each opportunity before work starts.
Registering your interest does not guarantee work, a start date or a particular rate. Opportunities depend on live projects, site location, programme, package requirements, suitable experience, documentation and labour availability. Sequenced Contracting may contact registered trades when a relevant requirement arises.
This page is intended to build a network for future construction trade and subcontract opportunities. The working arrangement and contractual status for any opportunity will be confirmed separately based on the actual project and scope.
Sequenced Contracting is designed to scale around real work fronts rather than promise a fixed gang size. Building relationships with good trades in advance helps us respond when contractors release plots, floors and packages.
If a project matches your trade, location and availability, we already know who you are and what you can do.
We aim to make the work basis clear before mobilisation: scope, programme, responsibilities and commercial arrangement.
Reliable trades and gangs who perform well can become part of the wider Sequenced network for future packages.
Not necessarily. This page is for registering interest in future opportunities as projects and labour requirements arise.
Both. The right option depends on the trade, project, programme and package. Established gangs should include their usual gang size and operating area.
Where the site, role or contractor requires one, you will need the appropriate valid card or evidence. Other documentation may also be required depending on the project.
Yes, if you genuinely have experience in more than one trade. Tell us your main trade first and then list any additional skills clearly.
No. Registration simply allows Sequenced Contracting to consider you when a suitable requirement arises.
Send your trade, experience, location, availability and whether you work individually or as a gang. Keep it accurate and straightforward.
